Basketball and the ZooLast week, Worrawon, the girl we sponsor, came back from a school basketball game where she and two other HoG girls played.

“How’d you do?” I asked.

“Not good. We lost 23-1.” was her reply.

I wanted to ask the question again, not sure I’d heard her response correctly. 23 to 1? That’s awful. That isn’t even fun. Don’t get me wrong. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m not a “WIN AT ALL COSTS” type of person. But I do think the point of playing competitive sports is being competitive.
