A Promise Fulfilled: The New Bus Arrives in Ghana

Global Servants

On Giving Tuesday, we shared a simple but urgent need: transportation for ministry in Ghana.

Today, we are celebrating the faithfulness of God and the generosity of His people. Global Servants has received photos and video of the new ministry bus purchased for pastor Peter Antwi in Duase, Ghana, and it is already a powerful testimony of God’s provision in action. This is more than a vehicle. It is answered prayer.

From Vision to Provision

When we shared the need for a reliable bus, it was not just about transportation. It was about impact.

In Ghana, distance matters. Villages are spread out. Churches and schools often serve multiple communities. Reliable transportation determines whether ministry can expand or remain limited. Because of your generosity on Giving Tuesday, what was once a prayer request is now parked in front of the church — ready to serve.

The bus will be used to:

  • Transport church members to services and leadership gatherings
  • Reach rural villages with evangelism and discipleship
  • Support Trinity Foundation School and related outreach efforts
  • Assist with community ministry events

This bus increases capacity. It expands reach. It multiplies ministry.

Celebrating God’s Faithfulness

For nearly 50 years, Global Servants has witnessed God’s provision time and time again. From churches planted to schools built, from wells drilled to girls rescued through House of Grace, the story is always the same:

God moves through faithful partners.

The arrival of this bus in Ghana is another chapter in that story.

Your gifts did not remain abstract. They became something tangible. Something practical. Something that will carry the Gospel down dusty roads and into open villages.

Thank You, Giving Tuesday Partners

To every donor who gave toward this project:

Thank you. You responded quickly. You trusted God. You believed in the mission. And now the fruit of that generosity is visible on the roads of Ghana.

Because of you:

  • Children will ride safely.
  • Pastors will travel farther.
  • Communities will be reached.
  • The Gospel will move forward.

This is what partnership looks like.

The Road Ahead

The bus has arrived — but the mission continues. As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that every provision opens the door to greater opportunity. There are still villages to reach, students to educate, girls to protect, and churches to strengthen across West Africa and Southeast Asia. But today, we pause and rejoice. God provided. You responded. Lives will be impacted.

A Note from Travis Rutland

When we first shared this need, we knew it was significant. Transportation in Ghana isn’t a convenience — it’s a necessity for ministry to function and grow. Seeing the bus arrive and watching the joy on Pastor Peter’s face reminded me again how God uses faithful partners to accomplish His purposes.

Every time I visit Ghana, I’m struck by the hunger for the Gospel and the commitment of our pastors and leaders. This bus is going to help them reach further than ever before. It’s going to carry children, pastors, leaders, and teams into places where lives will be changed.

Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for responding so generously. You are part of every mile this bus travels.

Sometimes, the impact of a mission is suddenly clear—years of prayer and faithful support coming together in a powerful outcome. Today, we celebrate one of those moments. Four young women from House of Grace-Ghana— Esther, Martha, Paulina, and Zuwera —have officially matriculated, stepping into a new season as university students. This is more than an academic milestone. It is the fulfillment of hope, the fruit of perseverance, and a powerful testimony of what God can do through faithful partnership.

The sound of construction is beginning to fade. Where there was once a construction site—filled with tools, materials, and long days of labor—there now stands something beautiful. The new dormitory at House of Grace-Thailand is nearly complete, and with every final detail, a quiet sense of anticipation is growing. Soon, this building will be filled with life. Not just activity—but purpose. Not just movement—but transformation. Because this dorm is not simply a structure. It is a place where girls will find hope.
